After graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, he signed up with the Air Force and worked his way up as a Senior Technician (Dedicated Crew Chief) for about 6 years.
He switched to be a Financial Services Consultant with a reputable insurance company beginning Year 1999, with the hope of spending more time with his family. Being a Certified Financial Planner™️ or CFP®️ cum Consultant since 2004, and while advising all age group clientele, most of his clients are young adults because he believes that financial planning should begin earliest possible, plus the fact that it was at this point in his own life that he first thought about financially planning.
He finds this career to be fulfilling in that he is able to help people with their finances. Whilst handling a first death claim, he realized the importance of life insurance, and the values which he can provide to his clients and their loved ones.
After being a Manager with AIA, he subsequently joined Manulife Singapore in 2010, transited to Manulife Financial Advisers and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2019 managing a group of 7 Managers and more than 60 Financial Services Consultants – with a total of 10 MDRTs and 3 COTs. Under his strong leadership, he has groomed many leaders & 2 branches have multiply from his group. They believe they will continue to grow and excel in this business.
