Coming from a family of career engineers, it’s unsurprising that Max completed an engineering degree as well. However, this young man’s career took a different turn as an undergraduate when he did his first roadshow. He was hooked. So he balanced this job with his tertiary education years, attesting to his determination and diligence.
Max joined the financial advisory industry because he derives great satisfaction seeing his clients achieve their financial freedom after a long journey of planning. His ultimate reward comes from knowing that under his guidance, his clients understand and embrace financial planning, and work with him to create a portfolio that gives them confidence to achieve their life goals.
Max has amassed significant industry knowledge, market insights, vital skills in client servicing as well as several prestigious industry awards including Court of the Table (COT) status in 2016, an accolade reserved for the few outstanding performers who achieve the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) level three times.
In 2017, Max established Max Wealth Associates, a team comprising mainly experienced financial consultants hailing from professional backgrounds including accountancy, banking, design, engineering, hospitality and luxury goods. Max emphasises a positive learning attitude so the team can constantly add value to their clients lives while living their personal lives to the fullest.
Max shares his family’s love for music and sports, especially tennis and a good gym workout. He also does volunteer work, focusing on helping the elderly members of our community.
