Deemed a pioneer in the establishment of the financial advisory (FA) channel business in Singapore and region, Francis has been in the FA scene since the 1990s. More than a firsthand witness to the rapid-pace evolution of the business, he has been driving change at the forefront of the transformation.

Having previously worked with global names including Manulife Financial, Phillip Securities, TM-Asia Life Singapore and Great Eastern Life, Francis brings more than three decades of end-to-end experiece in the insurance business as well as financial services channel management expertise to SG Alliance. The former Head of FA Channel at Manulife Financial spearheaded the expansion of the company’s insurance business and its pivot into financial advisory. Working in partnership with more than 30 financial advisory firms, Francis and his team grew the company’s FA production from $6m to $28m in three short years.

His prime focus now, as CEO of SG Alliance, is to empower every consultant with the right tools, training and resources to provide comprehensive financial advisory in a client-first approach. “We will bring on alternative financial solutions apart from those currently available in the market so that our consultants can offer a wider range of choices to meet the diverse needs of our clients.”

Married with two grown sons, Francis values strong family ties and support as fundamentals to success in one’s personal as well as professional life.
