Clara has always looked upon her father as her role model because she is inspired by his ability to brighten the lives of people around him through his everyday actions. Therefore, she decided to join the financial advisory profession so she can use her knowledge and skills to help her clients achieve financial independence, and ensure that they are always financially protected even on rainy days.
Since joining SG Alliance, Clara has been impressed by the comprehensive range of products and services on offer, empowering her to select the best fit for her clients. Five years into her career today, one of her biggest roles is to create a policy summary for her clients and educate them on their current portfolio so they understand their potential benefits. “My clients like how I simplify complicated policy details for them. I also help my clients submit claim documents to ensure timely payouts so my clients are not financially stranded. Being there for them in times of crisis is my way of giving emotional support,” shares the Million Dollar Round Table awardee.
Perseverance is one of Clara’s key attributes that has served her and her clients well. One of her clients has a baby boy who was born with medical conditions that few insurers would cover. Through her persistence, Clara kept searching until she found the most suitable policy recommendation. This proved to be a lifesaver as the child subsequently required hospitalisation and the coverage ensured he received proper and timely treatment, which his family would not have been able to afford otherwise.
As a family-oriented person, Clara derives great from joy doing the simplest things such as having a meal or watching a movie with her family.
Clara is passionate about the positive changes she can bring to improve someone else’s life. Her director, Richard Ong, once shared with her, “As long as you know that you are doing good, just keep going, because there will come a day when people will realise that you are actually here to care for them.” Wise words that fuel Clara’s mission to be the best financial consultant to benefit her clients.
