About

A software engineer by training, Edmund joined the financial advisory industry in 2009 while on a break from his IT career. After eight years with a one of the top insurance companies, he decided to switch to a full-fledged financial advisory firm.

Edmund spent his past decade gaining multiple professional qualifications and bagged a few top financial advisory awards along the way. He is a CFP® professional and newly minted Associate Financial Services Manager at SG Alliance. His goal is to build a team of financial consultants with the highest standards of professionalism.

Being a financial consultant is rewarding if your premise is to help others improve their lives. Edmund shares a few examples of what gives him the greatest satisfaction:

• Educating clients on finance-related topics so they can make informed decisions concerning their financial health
• Giving clients a sense of relief and satisfaction when they have a clear projection of their financial future
• Ensuring clients receive insurance payouts when they need it most

Personal Passions

Edmund is happily married, and a doting father to a young daughter. In his spare time, his background in computer science takes the front seat. He enjoys exploring new technologies and has a special interest in computer networks. This hands-on and detail-oriented man has even helped some of his clients set up the network systems in their homes and offices!
